Any advice?

Post by Tanuki on September 3rd 2009, 4:28 pm

I was recently diagnosed with multiple sclerosis(2/09). When i started my inject-able medication rebif i decided i was going to smoke marijuana not only to deal with the anxiety of my fear of needles(which is why i also stopped taking the medicine) and to deal with the often negative "flu like symptoms". I wasn't really expecting it but it also but it also gave me relief from my headache/migraine I've had since I was in the hospital in 10/08 and also some relief from my back pain which in combination with vicodin at half my normal dose can give me a more full relief. I'm currently on disability and cant even afford the bills i have now so i decided my only choice was to ask my mother for help getting legal. She didn't like the idea she called me an addict i want me to go to rehab (from weed i know its ridiculous, I'm 28 btw) I've tried showing her numerous articles about the benefits of medical marijuana for ms patients but she just comes up with silly excuses why it's bad and i refute all her points but apparently there is no changing her mind. Since I've stopped smoking about a month ago I've noticed i have developed a few new symptoms and my existing back pain is getting worse. I'm at a lose of what to do any ideas are welcome or maybe just a few words of encouragement...

offering extra small doses of an edible form? There are topical oils, etc. that can be used also. Alternative ingestion methods always seem to open peoples eyes. Suspect Suspect

You are correct. If you test positive they CAN and probably will terminate employment. It isn't right, but it is what it is, and I can't say why it is. Question No other medication can be regulated by the workplace... only Medicinal Cannabis.

Sooner or later, we will get the rights we are looking for, but as of right now, it's a steady upward walk.
